12 key metrics of an Uzum seller: what to check and when

Many sellers look only at revenue. But revenue can grow while profit falls, so a store should be tracked by several metrics. Here is the list.
Sales metrics
- Revenue is the sum of goods sold. Compare periods (week, month) with the previous ones.
- Units sold is how many pieces were sold. If revenue grew but units fell, the product simply got more expensive.
- Average order value is revenue ÷ orders. It shows whether pricing and bundles work.
- Return rate is returns ÷ sales. A high rate usually points to a mistake in sizes, photos or description.
- Cancellation rate: in FBS and DBS, penalties and rating depend on it (details).
Financial metrics
- Margin is net profit ÷ revenue. The share left after commission, logistics, ads and cost price.
- Net profit in money, by SKU and by store (how to calculate).
- ROI is net profit ÷ money invested in goods. It shows how fast and effectively capital works.
- DRR is ad spend ÷ revenue. It must not exceed the margin (ad metrics).
Operational metrics
- Turnover (days) is stock ÷ daily sales. Above 60 days, storage becomes paid (rules).
- Days of stock left warns you before the product runs out (planning).
- Rating and unanswered reviews: low ratings and unanswered reviews reduce conversion.
Review routine
- Every day (5 minutes): revenue, cancellations, low stock, new low ratings.
- Once a week: margin, DRR, reasons for returns, best and most loss-making SKUs.
- Once a month: ROI, turnover, niche and assortment decisions: what to add and what to stop.
Collecting all metrics by hand in Excel is slow and error-prone. The MARGN store dashboard shows them on one screen against the previous period — Store dashboard.
